During the last election there was a lot of talk concerning energy independence, particularly how drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) could help make the U.S. more energy independent. Much of this debate was centered around whether drilling in ANWR would produce a positive effect on the U.S. Economy.

We firmly believe that the economy and the environment are intrinsically linked.  This website is devoted to the question of whether or not we should drill in ANWR.  What Are the costs and benefits of leaving ANWR alone?  Would drilling adversely affect ANWR's ecosystem? How much oil is there?  And, will drilling make a significant difference in helping the US attain energy independence?  We seek to answer all of these questions and more.
